Hmm this may or may not help but have you tried finding any singers similar to your voice? It doesn’t matter if they’re male, female, trap - just someone who shares qualities.
This really goes as advice for anybody looking for music in their range.
If you can find a cover artist that is easy to sing along to, maybe check out what songs they’ve covered and see if any interest you. They may even lower/raise a song to a key that you never would have considered before (might be tricky to figure out that key, but it never hurts to ask them)!
Anyway, I think this might be good long-term advice for anyone looking for songs in their range
Also, this site has a list of cover artists on youtube aka. youtaites. Good luck!
When there’s no intro, it seems impossible to know what note to come in on, right?
Well I overcome this by working on it. Honestly, by the time I record, I have heard this song in this key at least twenty times so the note just pops into my brain and I go for it. You’d be surprised what your brain remembers!
If this still just isn’t working for you, you can always record yourself humming the note and stick it in a few seconds before the instrumental starts. Whatever might work for you!
